What I do
Film & Video Production
Shawn runs Prominyo, a California-based film production studio. Full-service production — from development and writing through filming, editing, visual effects, and color grading. The work is narrative. The goal is always to entertain.
Martial Arts Instruction
Shawn is a licensed school owner under the ATA Martial Arts system, teaching Songahm Taekwondo. He’s trained and taught his entire professional life. The school is where the discipline and communication skills that run through everything else he does were built.
The Background Work
Most of the web services Shawn uses personally and across his businesses are self-hosted on a VPS he owns and manages. He builds automation workflows, runs open-source alternatives to expensive hosted services, and generally enjoys making computers work harder so he doesn’t have to. It saves money. It’s also just fun.
